When I was in college,there were many older students who were taking the same courses I was. I didn’t see anything unusual about that, and I often got along better with the “grown ups” than I did with the fresh-out-of-high school students.

Ah, if only history teachers taught the subject in a way that most students would like it….Most of the history I know I learned on my own. History-as-taught-in-school usually bored me.

It’s never to late to go to school. I finished my M.A. when I was 56 and my Ph.D. when I was 62. I absolutely loved being in school because I love learning–just like you.
