I am a mother, a wife, a published freelance writer, a tutor, an ESL teacher, a soccer player, a dog lover, an avid reader, a novelist, a risk taker and a Cuban American.

I am enthusiastic about life and love to blog about all types of stuff: funny things elementary kids say, traveling, marketing, authors, selling on Craigslist, getting on QVC, haunted houses, mothering tips, dogs, teenagers, writing, playing soccer and much more.

Check out my pages and previous posts, including an entry about one of my favorite authors, Janet Evanovich.  I promoted and attended her book signing event at Barnes & Noble, in my Stephanie Plum costume (see picture) and I did it as a fan.  That’s how I am about things: if I believe in something, I love promoting it.
